Jour 1 : Arrivée au Caire

Welcome to the land of pharaohs! Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, a Memphis Tours representative meets you before immigration to help obtain your entry visa and breeze you through customs. Step outside into the bustling streets of Cairo, and relax as a private driver whisks you to your boutique hotel in the heart of Old Islamic Cairo. Settle in and soak up the atmosphere – you’re surrounded by historic architecture and the sounds of a city that never sleeps. Tonight is free to rest after your flight. (Get a good night’s sleep – your Egyptian Adventure is about to begin in earnest tomorrow!)

Day 2: Pyramids of Giza & Sakkara

Après un délicieux et copieux petit-déjeuner égyptien, votre guide privé vous conduira sur le plateau de Gizeh pour commencer votre voyage par la découverte de l'une des Sept Merveilles du Monde : les Grandes Pyramides de Gizeh. Jour 3 : GEMME

Après le petit-déjeuner, première étape : le Nouveau Grand Musée Égyptien, le plus récent monument d’Égypte, situé à seulement deux kilomètres des pyramides. Il abrite plus de 100 000 artefacts couvrant 5 000 ans d’histoire et présente l’intégralité de la collection Toutankhamon, exposée pour la toute première fois. Ensuite, déjeuner dans un authentique restaurant égyptien.

Day 4: Fly to Luxor – Karnak & Luxor Temples

Check out after breakfast and transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. On arrival, meet your local guide and visit:

The vast Karnak Temple Complex is one of the largest religious sites in the world.
Luxor Temple, connected to Karnak by the ancient Avenue of Sphinxes, and the Obelisk of Ramses II.
After touring, check into your Luxor hotel. This evening, you can relax or join an optional Sound & Light Show at Karnak (extra cost).

Day 5: Luxor West Bank – Dahabiya Embarkation at Esna

After breakfast, you can:

Enjoy a relaxed morning or
Join an optional hot-air balloon ride over the West Bank (extra; from approx. 129 USD per person).
Then explore the Luxor West Bank:

Valley of the Kings (ticket includes 3 tombs; special tombs like Tutankhamun, Seti I and Ramses IV require an extra ticket).
Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahari.
Photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon.
After the tour, transfer to Esna and board your Dahabiya Nuun or Nuut. Settle into your cabin and start your Nile journey, sailing south as you enjoy fresh lunch and later dinner on board.

Day 6: El Kab & Edfu – Rural Nile Life

Cross the Esna Lock early in the morning and enjoy breakfast on deck with Nile views.

Stop at El Kab village, visiting El Kab Temple and glimpsing mud-brick houses and everyday village life.
Sail on to Edfu and visit the Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples.
Travel by horse-drawn carriage to and from the temple, passing fields, markets, and local life.
Return to the boat and continue sailing, passing lush landscapes dotted with palm trees. Anchor near Sheikh Rehan Island for a relaxed dinner on board.

Day 7: Gebel Silsela & Nile Islands

Enjoy breakfast while sailing to Gebel Silsela.

Explore the ancient sandstone quarries and the rock-cut Temple of Horemheb.
Hike up for panoramic views of the narrow Nile gorge (optional but rewarding).
Sail onward to Fawaza Island for lunch, then continue to Al Bashir Island near Kom Ombo. Enjoy tea on deck at sunset, followed by a relaxed BBQ dinner under the stars.

Day 8: Kom Ombo Temple – Sail to Aswan

Savor breakfast on board while your Dahabiya sails to Kom Ombo.

Walk through the town and visit the double temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to Horus the Elder and Sobek the Crocodile God, with its mirrored halls and sanctuaries.
Return to the Dahabiya and continue sailing toward Aswan, with lunch and dinner served on board as you watch life unfold on the riverbanks.

Visits: Kom Ombo Temple

Day 9: Disembark in Aswan – Philae Temple – Fly Back to Cairo

After one last breakfast on the Dahabiya, disembark in Aswan.

Visit the beautiful Temple of Philae, dedicated to Isis and Hathor, set on an island in the Nile—one of Upper Egypt’s most atmospheric sites.
After your visit, your representative will escort you to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo. On arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel for your final night in Egypt.

Day 10: Cairo at Leisure – Final Departure
